Life I attended grade school in Berlin Heights from 1958 to 1962, moved to Huron, Ohio and attended Shawnee elementry in 1962 (fifth grade) then on to McCormick Middle School for 6th and 7th grade. My favorite teacher was Mr. Kurtz and my best friend was Sarah Wright! I then moved to Sandusky and attended Adams and Jackson Junior High (Mr. Kuzell was my 7th grade home room teacher and Mr. Thom my 8th grade home room teacher). High school was a blast and I spent a lot of time buzzing the ave in my 1962 Corvair (darn, I miss that car!) with Elaine, Bunny, Carol, Sandy and others. I'll never forget how Sandusky basketball and football teams were THE teams of the North Coast thanks to people like Bill Deming, Dave Rather, Elmer Lippert, Lino Venerucci, Frank Basilone, etc. I have since grown up (and out, unfortunately) have a 19 year old son who graduated in 2005 from Margaretta High and played center on the Polar Bear team and is restoring two 1966 Mustangs which I plan to borrow to buzz the ave!
