Marianne's Story
Hi!
I received my degrees from Nassau Community College (AA), Molloy College (BA) and Adelphi University (MA) in early childhood/elemntary education. After teaching in the RVC Catholic schools, I worked for Swissair. I worked in JFK, CliftonI, NJ and was transferred by Swissair to open the Atlanta ticket office. I moved to Atlanta in 1987 with my husband, Tim. Our son, Ryan was born in 1994. I left Swissair to be a stay at home Mom and in 1999 started teaching at Ryan's preschool. aw Charter School as one of the founding Faculty where I taught Kindergarten and was the lead Kindergarten teacher. I am presently teaching a 1/2 day Kindergarten program in a private school and loving it.
We have 2 dogs, Sally a Collie/Golden mix and Gage a Basenji mix. We love to travel, especially out west. My son and husband love fly fishing and Ryan is a good sailor. I am an avid reader and dabble in interior design.
My Mom still lives on LI in Blue Point, so I get up to LI on a regular basis.
