Alright now, could my hair be any bigger back then?... geech! Being a teenager was so rough w/all of the peer pressure/s one indured, but luckily I survived! When I think of H.S, I think of the "islands", the typical meeting place in between classes and after school, I remember watching poor victims being tossed down "freshman hill" by seniors and remember thinking, gee, I sure hope they don't know I'm a freshman too! Mr.Kirsch was a trip, Ms.McMillan was so nice, and who could forget Mr.Cecil? The late 80's sure was something really special, everybody was a total geek but we didn't know it back then (ha,ha). e still together! (16 years). The memories are etched in my head and heart forever; we were young, innocent, and ready to rule the world! My (2) best friends back then,Berni Scruggs (Barnhill), and Kim Pate(Hall)are still my best friends now. Becky Jeremiah,Lisa Holt, Joanna Sherrill(Diver), Ester Powell(Faubion),Johnetta Adams(Miller),Dolores Vasquez(Swisher),and Missy Kehoe(Rowe) are all still very close friends and I feel so lucky to still have them be there for me after all these years. I ran into Bernard Mcfarland about 3 years ago and I have to say his sons were absolute dolls! I love running into old school mates and find myself amazed everytime; it sure takes me back to the "good ol' days"!
