Marie's Story
Gee,you would think I would have a lot to tell, but I am not good talking about myself.
So I will try to fill you in on my life.
I have been married twice. I have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren. My daughters are all married with great hubbies. They all work good jobs. Two had finished college and one went for her masters. Very successful.
My 3 girls are my greatest achievement.
I have had many occupations. Sales, florist,optician, medical receptionist, entertainer,and most recent and most rewarding a care-giver for seniors and disabled.
I live a simple life on my farmette in Southern York County. My girl friend and I go out every weekend. Dancing is one of my favorite form of exercise. I do this at least once a week most times twice a week. I love music I think of it as my best friend when no one is around, this is how I entertain myself. I was a singer in a band back in the early '80.
I don't know where life will take me next, but I am eager to found out. I live day to day, I have no expectations of people, I believe those we meet in life are there for a reason. When their time is up and we have learned from them(or not) t...Expand for more

I always wanted to be a singer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a CRAZY idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
If I have had a bad day,I go home, lock all the doors pull down the blinds,put a CD of R&R on get comfy and dance my frustrations away. I feel like a new person got my exercise in and forgot what was bothering me. Life is too short to waste time on negativity.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is R.R., because I was nuts over him and he never knew!
I live alone,(that is if you don't count the 9 cats running around my property and my two teen-age granddaughters who seem to love being around me).They are my obsession now a days.The other five grandkids are too young or too occupied with their toys and games.
I would love to hear from some of my old friends but I don't see a lot of them on CM. I hope that they don't remember me as the class clown or the one that they would challenge to do something naughter in class. I was quiet and a little shy in my eyes!
