Marie's Story
My husband and I and my 3 kids moved in Jan 2010 to Harrisburg NC (just outside of Charlotte) from the Cincinnati area. My husband received a job promotion thru Heinz, plus his job in Cincy was phased out. My 3 kids are Katelyn (11), Jack(almost 9) and Kierstin(6) I am still a stay at home Mom and planning on finding a job now that my youngest is in school full time. Not sure what though. e been able to stay home with my kids but its difficult in this economy to find a job when I've been out of the loop for so long. Not sure if I want to go back into teaching. The passion is not there like I use to have. The education in our country is far different from the last 10 to 12 years ago. Not sure if I can handle the challenges of getting back into a classroom. I feel as if I am rusty. There's more technology in the schools than when I taught.
