Marie's Story
Well, I left high school after the 10th grade. I intended to return, however the school district would not allow me to return to Workman, because I lived in a different town.
I got married the summer of 1970, had a son in Aug of 1971. My second son in 1975. They both are still the light of my life. The marriage however was not good. BUT I survived and left the LA area and made a better life for the boys and I.
I am now married to a really good man, we live in southern Oregon on a small family owned vineyard on 50 acres out in the country. My sons have grown and now I have 8 grandchildren. Life hasn't always been great, but it i...Expand for more

I am an office manager for 2 small construction companies now. Our vineyard (Chateau Nonchalant Vineyards) is doing well. Our beautiful tasting room opened last June! It has been a really big hit!
I always wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were correct. I worked in Animal Control in SOCAL, and now have 4 large dogs, and help care for my sister in laws 3 dogs and 4 horses.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Theresa or Terri (can't remember her last name) because We were friends, I still have a picture of her.
