Marie's Story
Life
Boy has life changed since Hastings in the late 70's! I'm now in Colorado, getting divorced since my husbands 2008 Christmas present to me was informing me he was having an affair and moved out leaving the boys and I on our own. So I am now salvaging as much as I can to keep what family life my kids have together.
Since leaving Hastings I've had 4 wonderful children (boys, one is an angel, my oldest is 21!).

ut on the good side I am finally in nursing school. Please someone tell me that life will get better, I am tired of being told "you are a strong woman".
My kids keep me going daily, 22, 15, and 16. They are the bond keeping us going from day to day!
But after having years of back pain and numbness in my legs I finally last summer broke down and had anterior posterior spinal fusion (L3-L4) and it was the best thing that has happened to me in years! I feel physically as good as I did way back in college...wow!
