Marie's Story
Marie is from Lexington, Kentucky. She attended Henry Clay High School. She later graduated from Transylvania University and the University of South Carolina Law School. Marie has worked as a cost accountant at James River/Dixie Northern in Lexington, in the controllers division of Bankers Trust in Columbia, S.C., for Sinkler, Gibbs & Simons (Sinkler & Boyd) in Charleston S.C., and presently practices law with her husband at Lindsay & Lindsay in Pawleys Island and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. S.C. She has two children, Ross M. Lindsay, IV and Catharine A. Lindsay. Ross graduated from Georgia Tech and is a network engineer for GT. Cacky graduated from Clemson University and is getting her masters in nursing and certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Emory University. Buddy and Marie live on the intracoastal waterway and enjoy boating on their trawler. They have two golden retrievers and a golden doodle. Buddy is an attorney/CPA and owns an interest in the Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront. He also serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations and has been ordained an Anglican priest.
