Marie's Story
Hi, Summer is about over except for Arizona. I'm still at my Prescott cabin waiting for it to cool off a bit before heading back to Sun City. It's been a busy summer. I have had two different art shows & actually managed to paint 12 paintings. Most are on display at the Fremont Building in Prescott.
This summer I planted 12 trees on my property. Considering there are already 23 Pine trees you wouldn't think I would need any. I wanted some smaller trees. My partner, John, built a huge flower bed for me. Which I promptly filled up with day lilly bulbs.
I finally got my Quad licensed to be street legal. For a long time I didn't know if I would keep it. The grandkids have outgrown that stage. Now I'm getting into it. There a...Expand for more
re a lot of places around Prescott that I can go with the Quad. It's a fun ride.
This summer also we have had more Havelina on the property than ever before. My dogs get upset when they cut across my land. They bark...which wakes me up. Seems like it happens almost every night lately. We are seeing a lot more wildlife here. I have two Border Collies and they ran a racoon & a possom up trees. Had to call them in to let the poor critters down.
My fall project which will start this week is to have more insulation blown into the attic. Then put solar panels on the house. Eventually I will move up here full time so I thought it best to get some of the things started now.
No other news here. Life is just as good as ever. Marie
