Life
My life was a soap opera! It's settled down in the past few years but for a while there -- WOW! I've been married 3 times - divorced, widowed and now happily attached to a great guy -- tho he does drive me batty every so often. I have had 2 careers and enjoyed them both. I was a banker for 18 years and then became a teacher.Teaching was my favorite and I learned a lot doing it. I also did recruiting for the school and wrote grants and ran special projects. eaching there--and I tagged along. Now I enjoy certainty and grandchildren. I have 7 -- 4 boys and 3 girls ranging in age from 5 to newborn (as of Dec. 05) Being Nana is the best job ever. We get to see them often (but not too often) and are enjoying watching them grow up. We moved to Wisconsin for the quiet, and are considering a move back to IL when we get old. Travel is a large part of our summer -- I have seen lots of places I only dreamt about and plan to see many more.
Life has been good. It hasn't always been what I expected, but it has usually turned out pretty well.
