Marilyn's Story
Hi Classmates...
It is hard to believe that it has been 50 years since I graduated from UHS. Much has happened in my life as has happened in your lives....graduation from college...marriage...3 children...divborce...remarriage which expanded my family to 5....cancer surgery (with a positve outcome)...death of my 2nd husband due to cancer.. additional surgeries...I could go on but, on the whole, my life has been full and rewarding. Now that I am a retired Art teacher my life's journey has taken a new path. and am now looking forward to experiencing all those things we put on hold.
I currently live in UnionCity, IN. which is located on the IN and OH line...half of our small town is located in IN. and the other half in OH...Expand for more
. The only thing we share is the post office...we have separate schools, mayors, police and fire depts. Now that we share the same time (EST) life is much less confusing from Mardh until Nov.
I have 4 grandchildren...3 in grade school and 1 in college ...recently married and will be presenting me with my first great-granddaughter in Nov!.. I love to garden, read, draw and paint , shop for antiques, spend time with my family and friends. I love to travel and hope to realize my dream trips to Alaska and Europe.( my bucket list) I am currently dating a wonderful man but we both like doing our own thing and do not have a committed relationship.
i am looking forward to our class reunion and reconnecting with old freinds. .
