I am a busy wife to my equally busy husband Erik. He is busy working at his job while I keep things running around the house, including the garden (I grow our vegies and mow our lawn and actually enjoy it--surprised myself) and the home repairs that I can do, so that when he is off work we can play. Play includes at least 4 nights of dancing a week. We square dance two nights a week. One night at Plus level and one at Advanced. We take round dance lessons two nights a week. Round dancing is ballroom dancing with a cuer. The whole floor of dancers does the same step at the same time. We are learning waltz, foxtrot, twostep, slow twostep, tango, mambo, cha cha, rumba, jive, swing and salsa. The dance lessons feature one type dance at a time with review of the others we have learned. On weekends we frequently go to another dance or even a 3 day dance festival somewhere.
