Life When I lost both my parents, I turned to writing down my feelings. In 2004, my first poem was published. I belong to a website for poets, "Poetry.com". Check it out if you are interested in writing or reading poetry. Currently, I am working on a project to publish a book my mom wrote before she passed away in 1994. Her kidneys failed in 1974 and she spend her last 20 years on kidney dialysis. She wrote a manual for dialysis patients and their families. It is full of recipes and helpful information on managing kidney disease. Everything I have to compile this book was handwritten by my mother and it has become a major undertaking.
