Marilyn's Story
Life
After high school, I received my BA
from the University of Northern CO
and taught elementary school for 25
years.
I also have an MA in Elementary Ed
and another MA in American History.
When I retired from teaching, I began
working for KLRU television in
Austin, TX and was involved
with the music show Austin City
Limits for 3 seasons. This became
the greatest experience of my life-the
show is just amazing and I have met
the most awesome people. Not a bad
retirement! In the summer of 2001, I
left Austin and returned to Colorado
to be closer to my family and deal
with some family issues. As of now,
I remain "retired" and am enjoying
life immensly!

c eye, and found I really missed the contact with people. Having not been much of a people person in my youth, I have made up for much lost time in my "old age" and thrive on being out among people. I have recently been doing mostly temp work, and thoroughly enjoying the challenges and variety that come with the various assignments I have so far been on. I usually try to accept jobs that will allow me to learn as well as make a difference. And, in my spare time, I still play music and am currently working on my culinary talents--often my biggest challenge! 2nd update:
Now that i have reached the ripe old age of 60, I find myself enjoying life to the fullest and have relocated to central New Mexico to take advantage of the multitudes of cultural activities this area has to offer. Life is good!!!
