Marilyn's Story
After moving from West Mansfield, OH to Richwood, OH during my Junior year, I fell in love with The Ohio State University. I visited friends there during my Junior year; then I figured out how to enroll in Business Education and graduated from OSU in March, 1960.
Another sorority sister and I decided to move to Pomona, Calif. to teach school the following year. I was teaching high school in Ganesha High School and Ann was teaching elementary school. The city, east of LA, was 63,000 at the time so that Ann and I could live together in a one-bedroom apartment.

e following July, 1961. I met my husband in college, although he was from Richwood, too. After High School graduation, he entered the army so that he would be able to attend OSU after getting out of the service. He entered OSU the same year that I did.
After marriage, we moved nine times with General Telephone Co. (now Verizon). We have two grown children (girl and boy) and ended up retiring in Celina, OH. I taught Business courses in five different schools and retired with 31 years of service. in 1996.
I love to travel and have been in all 50 states, plus several foreign countries. If in Celina, be sure and call me.
