Marilyn's Story
The faculty at OHS were good people who, in general, did their best to bring us along. I loved band with Mr. Degler, chorus with wonderful Mrs. McClure and, despite his distaste for "gerrrrls" in his classes, chem and physics with Mr. Evans. Mr. Huntington inspired a lifelong appreciation in me (but not much skill) for word smithing and I believe Mrs. Nelson demonstrated a higher standard of intellectual expression (and wardrobe) than most of us had seen in a woman at that time. known know them. After high school, I studied music, married, had a family, worked, and studied public health. With the children (pretty much) on their own, grandchildren springing forth, and retirement on the horizon, I'm looking forward now to being able to volunteer some help where it's needed and am praying for guidance and direction to find it.
