Marilyn's Story

I have one daughter and three grandchildren who live on Long Island. In 1998, I moved to Colorado. I attended Long Island University in Brooklyn where I received a degree in Paralegal studies. I have been a paralegal for 31 years and work for a very large law firm with four offices in two states in the Litigaion Department. I come back to NY about 1-2 times a year. I'm married to a lovely man and we live in Littleton. The picture that I have posted on this site was taken in July 2008 on the Arkansas River near Canon City, Colorado. of the raft is my grandson, Dylan 15, my grandaughter Gabrielle, 7 and my daughter Tara. Behind Tara is my grandaughter Skye Mae, 10 and behind Dylan is me!! The guy in the back is the river guide. We had a ball that day, we were on the river doing rapids for over 2 hours!! We could have gone all day, but the day before we spent 3 hours horseback riding in Rocky Mountain National Park, near Estes Park. I love living in Colorado because I really enjoy being outdoors. But I miss my daughter and grandkids. We have 2 dogs, Sweet Pea and Frostie and also Max the Cat. They enjoy their lives soooo much. They are all rescues. I hope to hear from some of my old classmates and find out how everyone is doing.
