I am a working empty-nester who really likes it that way. I work twenty hours a week in the education department at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. It is a terrific place to work and I have met some world famous artists who I studied in my college art history classes. I have two grown sons who both are living nearby with their familys. Love love love being a gramma. Part of my week is spent caring for Elizabeth, Briggs and Adelaide. I am a quiltmaker and founding member of the West MI Quilters Guild; sounds dorky but there ya go. I have sold some of my work in a local gallery. I love to cook and of course at our age it shows. Regretably I am no longer "Skinny Linny". I do work-out though and have a bike that I ride on some local "rails to trails" sites and at a park near the Grand River which is a block from my house. Our family has an old cottage on an inland lake where we gather during summer week...Expand for more
