Marina's Story
Life
Hi all! Since Leyden, life's been pretty good. I started tending bar shortly after school ,and I stuck with that for 20 years! In 1982 I met my husband and moved to Austin,Texas where we still live. We have 1 son who is a senior in high school and a baseball god!! O.K. that's a mom talking, but he is really good! We're looking at colleges now. Anyway, I quit tending bar 10 years ago and I am now a faux painter. I really enjoy it--plus it's great money! I have my own company, so the hours are great too!
As far as pets, we currently have 1 dog(Moll...Expand for more
y-black cocker-7 yrs.),1 parakeet(Petie), and 2 turtles( Shibey and Franklin-1 1/2 yrs.) There is also a stray cat who visits often-much to Molly's dislike! We'll probably have a new puppy soon!
I gotta say, I relly love this site! Being so far away from home, it's easy to lose track of people. It's nice to have a place to go to find long lost friends! In the last month I've found several people I thought I would never talk to again. I haven't made it to a reunion yet, but I won't miss the next one! Thank you to whoever it was that came up with this site!
