Marion's Story
Hi all.
I live just across the from South Hadley. On a clear day I can hear the noon whistle. Mt. Tom State Reservation is basically in my back yard. Love it. I am a former Conservation Commissioner (for 18+ years). Was involved deeply. My husband and I are in charge of our Mission Society at our church (First Lutheran Church on Northampton St here in Holyoke. We participate in fund raisers, and in missions. He is a sender and I am a goer. My first mission is of course our church and school (pre-K to 8th grade). We support many missions so...Expand for more
me in the US and most overseas. As a goer, I've been in Alaska, then in Kenya, East Africa. Currently, we are supporting infants and toddlers with desperately needed clothing and especially blankets. We also do some "gentleman-farming". and try to keep up with our 1842 home with DIY. Our son who lives in the upstairs apartment is a genuine person who does most of the fixup. I have more to add, but talk to me at the reunion. Can't wait!
