Marion's Story
I finished High School in the Summer of 1949. Should have graduated with Class of 1950. Started college at Lamar Junior College in Fall 1949. Later attended Sam Houston State Teachers College. Graduated in Summer 1954 with BA. Taught school for 25 years.

Retired in 1990 from Kountze ISD. Married and widowed three times. Have 2 children: a daughter and son, one grandson and four great granddaughters.
Never thought I'd end up living back in Silsbee, but I've been here since 1969. I really miss the old Hardin Drug Store and the BlueBonnet Cafe.
