Marita's Story
Life
I have got 3 great kids! My son, Dru, is married to a lovely girl, Lindsey and they have a beautiful son, Ethan. Ethan is now 2. Yes, I am a grandmother! Dru is finishing up college and works with me in the oil business. My daughter, Michelle, is a senior at the University of Tulsa studying MIS. My daughter, Christa, is in the 9th grade and loves drama class.
School
Best times in high school were dragging main, times with my friends, cheering, plays, choir, pep assemblies, church activities, and the lake. Some of my dearest memories include my friends!
College

She is still my best friend! We recently went to Vegas together to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday! Four Cottey Alums in Vegas at one time, the town will never be the same! I had a great roommate at Wayne State College, Kathy! I miss her! I miss the friends I made in college. I attended several different colleges and had a great experience at each place. My regret is that I always loaded up on classes and worked so many hours that I missed some of the good stuff.
Workplace
I still work in the oil and gas business as a Petroleum Landman in Oklahoma City. I am an Instructor and run a Mineral Leasing Department.
