Life
Married name was Gerrard, am back to using Doyle. While I was married I lived in the town of Birds Hill for 25 years. I miss it. I loved the quietness - we were not in a big house - ours was a little house on the prairie. I'm now retired from the University of Manitoba. Trying to get in shape and enjoying meeting new people and trying new things. Love to travel - went to Australia and New Zealand in November 2009 and a cruise in February. Am still traveling - went to the Dominican Republic in March and off to BC in June. I'm a computer lover and have been using a Mac since about 1984. arents are dead as is my youngest brother Ron - that was a shocker and very difficult for my Mother at the time.
My daughter and son are all grown up and doing their own thing. My daughter lives in our old house in Birds Hill. She had graduated from both Red River College and the University of Winnipeg with a Science degree. My other kid has come back from Montreal and has bought a house in Winnipeg. They have a degree in computer science and work for a US firm but does their work remotely.
I am still involved in Girl Guides, my condo board as well as my church board. I'm hoping some of my friends from high school can attend the reunion at Glenlawn. I did enjoy my time there.
