Marjorie's Story
Life
After graduating High School, I attended NYU and received a degree in Nursing. I then went to work at St Luke's Hospital on the Upper West Side. I never thought I would leave the City, but in 1990 I moved to the Tampa area and have been here since.
Bicycling is my free-time passion. In 2006 I completed my first MS150--an awesome experience!
Workplace
I've been a Registered Nurse since 1981. Upon graduating NYU, I started working at St Luke's Hospital in NYC. I man...Expand for more
aged a Med-Surg Unit for 2 years and realized that I was not the Management-type. Emergency Nursing then became my passion. In 1990 I left NY and moved to Florida to work in the Emergency Room at Tampa General Hospital. For the past year I have been working in the Recovery Room and Pre-Op Holding areas. I enjoy Nursing as much as I did when I started, and can't think of doing anything else.
