Mark's Story
I am the owner of "Summersville Lake Marina, Inc." and Long Point Scuba, Inc. dba "Sarge's Dive Shop" with my brother, Eric Allen, which are located on Summersville Lake, Summersville, WV. I am a certified NAUI Scuba Instructor, ERDI Public Safety Dive Instructor, and an SDI Scuba Instructor. I am also a certified ERDI Instructor Trainer. I am an officer of our Search & Recovery dive team, which responds to water-related emergencies and drownings in our local lakes and rivers. We have recovered over 80 victims of drownings and weapons used in crimes.
I do a lot of landscape and nature photography. I also teach Photoshop to college students
and adults from time to time. I taught life science, biology, astronomy, physics, physical science, and human anatomy & physiology for the Fayette County Board of Ed. and the New River Community & Technical College in Summersville, WV.
I was awarded the "1987 Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching" by President Ronal...Expand for more

My interests today are eschatology, apologetics, photography, diving, and astrophotography. I have written several papers on biblical prophecy, which I have made available to anyone who requests them.
I have a smart and beautiful daughter, a son-in-law, and two beautiful grandchildren who live in Virginia. My daughter works for the FBI, and my son-in-law works for the U.S. Department of Defense.

I attended Potomac State College for 2 years (1971-1973). Then, I transferred to Fairmont State College in 1973. I graduated from Fairmont State College in 1976 with a B.A. degree in biology.
God punished me and I ended up teaching science for the Fayette County school system. I then earned a "Master of Science Degree" in 1984 from the University of Charleston, in Charleston, WV.
