Mark's Story
I attended Del Valle High near Austin, Texas from 1967 - 1970, leaving after my junior year when my father transferred to Wiesbaden, Germany. I graduated from H.H Arnold High in 1971, and then stayed in Europe for a year. Returning back to the States, I finally obtained a degree from the University of California in 1978, attended The McGeorge School of Law for one year, then joined the Air Force and served as a bomber navigator (a manipulator of time and space). After a career flying in the B-52G and the B-1 weapon systems (over 3000 hours), I retired from the Air Force. My wife, Nancy, and I were then fortunate to obtain jobs with The Boeing Company. a Master of Science in Systems Engineering; and I am currently the Engineering Skill Team Manager for Software Engineering for The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City. I am a published member of IEEE and the American Society for Quality. We live in Edmond - a suburb located north of Oklahoma City. Our home is located two miles north of the intersection of I-35N and the Turner Turnpike. So my friends, if you are ever driving through this part of the country, get in touch. We will have a beer and bratwurst waiting for you. Or we can go to one of three great German restaurants in the Oklahoma City area.
