Mark's Story
Military
I went to LPN school at Ft. Ord, and ended up in the Emergency Room for 2 years, and I worked at the clinic at The Presidio Of Monterey for one year. My fondest memories were of the ER. N, Debbie Korlan, and Gary Married, RN's. THe list goes on and on. All great people, and it was a mash mentality to be sure. ER was always crazy on paydays, and full moons. I'd spend 8-10 hour shifts sewing them up one after the other. It was relatively quiet until the Seventh Division moved in. That's when it really got busy. Over 17,000 people moved onto the base in less than one year. It was a wild ride, but a good one. More later
