Mark's Story
Hello.I have had a good life. I have several degrees in college--history for one and medical--RN nursing with ACLS and licenses in several states in which I have practiced. I also ran two full scale restaurants in which my family owned back in the mid to late 80s and into the 90s. 12 years in all total. It was a wonderful experience being an owner of a small business. In that business we served many hundreds of thousands of people from the U of I area and surrounding, Central IL. We were even named one of the best with the Epicurean awards for excellence. and her great recipes and management was wonderful. I made many friends, too. I would do it all over again if given the chance too. I love history--military history and some of my favorites of the past regarding military men are General Patton, for example. I am still traditional Conservative and enjoy reading and keeping up current on issues. I have traveled the US quite a bit and seen a lot in my life--a great learning experience. I finally decided to settle down in my home town area now. Built a new home a few years ago and semi retired. Cherish your true friends and family, people! Time flies as you age!
