Mark's Story
Life
For those
who care, I parlayed my interest in
journalism into a full-fledged media
career following my graduation from
the University of Houston, having
worked as a copy editor for the late,
lamented Houston Post and the
Boca Raton (Fla.) News. I also
worked as the news editor of the
North Platte (Neb.) Telegraph (how I
ended up there is quite a tale),
content editor for the Duluth (Minn.)
News Tribune, an online editor for
Billboard Magazine, the Hollywood
Reporter and Editor & Publisher,

thers, while working for an
Internet firm in Houston. I was also
the editor of three men's magazines
for a time while living in South
Florida. Currently, I have relocated back to Spring to take care of my ailing mother. I am separated and have no
children, unless you count two
cats. If anyone remembers me from
school, by all means drop me a line.
I look forward to hearing (and
possibly seeing) my former Bearkat
friends. Glad to see the Bearkats are
still a powerhouse in sports and
