Mark's Story
After graduating from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (Psychology Honors Program), I moved to New York City to study clinical psychology and psychoanalysis. From there, I moved to Westport, CT where I live with my wife and two daughters. I am a licensed clinical psychologist, Research Scientist in the Child Study Center, Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, and Lecturer in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration at Yale University. conduct psychotherapy research, teach undergraduate courses, mentor doctoral dissertations, offer a Psychiatry residency elective, supervise trainees, and write professional articles addressing issues in personality, culture, and psychotherapy. I am also an NYU-trained psychoanalyst and faculty member in the Postdoctoral Program for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis at New York University where I teach a course on the history of psychoanalysis.
