Mark's Story
Life
married twice, divorced once, 6 kids and getting old. 8 Years in the military and lost touch with almost everyone.
Enjoy motorcycling, snowmobiling and woodworking.
It would be nice to see some classmates again and couldn't care less about the others.
COme on let's be honest here, if we wanted to, we wouldn't have to wait five more years to get together.
Too bad the only ones that seem to think it's a wonderful thing to get together are the "jocks and cheerleader cliques", us normal and abby normal types are the ones that don't feel so self important. We would be the life of the party because we have never had anything to prove nor wanted to prove anything.. We could possibly have fun without trying to be something we are not.
Does any one else not feel the need to spend all that money to see people I never really liked all that much in the first place? I'd rather meet a few of folks I got along with for a few cold ones some fried chicken or brats, without the formalisms of a reunion type setting.
Band? Oh yeah the high school dance cliques (just happens to be the same as the others mentioned) who needs to pay for a band? Oh yes now I know, the same people who planned our high school dances are planning our reunions.
Try this, a keg, some picnic tables, some volley ball, softball, and a park.
Semi formal? Formal? Who the helll cares about this stuff? What are we doing? Why do we care what other people think? Jeans and a t-shirt!! Bring the kids, do some fishing, give it a rest you guys!! Relax, be yourself, not wha...Expand for more
t you want others to think you are!! This was the biggest problem in High school. Put on this mask, try to be who others wanted you to be. For crying out loud, we are in our forties!!! We are who we are, why do you care what others think anymore?
I don't care if your making a 6 figure income or if you still owe me ten bucks from high school. Relax. be yourself, your not a prince or a princess, your not captain of the football team, your not a homing Queen or prom queen, ANYMORE!! Your no better than I am, Yup that's right I said it!! No better than I am. I work hard, I pay bills, I support my family. I worked my butt off to get where I am, which is nowhere - LOL I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I wasn't "given" opportunities. I made my opportunities. I succeeded in some, failed in others.
Hello!! I think we call this "life"!! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt!!
OKay I'm done, peace!
School
Crush? haahhaahahahahhaha
My favorite teachers was Mr. Eckers - german teacher. He was the greatest.
Do it all over again? Are you freakin' stoned? You are a product of all your decisions you have made in life. It's a one time shot. You don't get a "do-over"? The only thing you can do from here on out is think out your decisions alittle slower, and make them a bit better. You are dealt a hand of cards, it's how you play that hand is what matters.
Funniest school memories- Kegger Graduation night, K-9's from one police force bit a cop from another, a few hundred kids racing away in every direction. Geez that was a blast.
