Mark's Story
Life
"That which does not kill me just pisses me off!" I am currently married to the most fantastic, wonderful woman in the world and I have three glorious children named Patrick 16, Jordan 11 and Garrett 10. Other events: brain surgery, small stroke, back surgery, been shot at, wrestled sharks, died a couple of times ,been robbed, bought a house,got a couple of dogs,lost a good friend, started my own company , closed my own company and recently have become a minister with Universal ministries.
To those who have personal challenges to overcome I wish the very best. Remember that most situations are only temporary, and never put a permanant solution to a temporary problem.Find a relaxing hobby, meet at least one new person each day and smile.
Live, laugh and learn.
Treat each day with respect it may be your last.
School
If I could make it explode, catch it on fire, or get extra credit for it I would do it. A bet or a dare was good enough. Sorry about the cracks in the lab tables, and the scorch marks on the front lawn. But I did enjoy getting out of ...Expand for more
class to do them. I did become a rocket mechanic for several years, that should make somebody very nervous.
College
College was great for mixing drinks, experiencing the world, and trying the herbal life. I had a good time, well most of it anyway. The biggest bummer was the backstabbing by friends and people you care about, but that which does not kill me just pisses me off.
Workplace
Coming from literally the ground up in my chosen profession has given me the odd perspective. Although my means and measures may not fit the traditional way of doing business, my results speak volumes of success.
If I could do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing. Now I find what I do very satisfying and have friends all around the globe, we keep in touch by email and snail mail. I have shaken hands with stars, and have met thousands of people(50x365x12= over 200,000 and that's conservative)I wouldn't have missed this experience for anything
Military
Enjoyed the travel, met lots of folks, shot at a few too. Hated the food, loved the drink prices, and 30 days vacation.
