Mark's Story
Life
I went to the University of Florida right out of high school, joined a fraternity (Delta Chi), made the UF Cheerleading team, had a four-year BLAST in Gainesville, and graduated with honors in 1999. I moved to Jacksonville, bought a house, and worked as the Director of Business Development for a financial consultant in the golf industry. In 2002, I took what I thought was my dream job as the Golf Group Sales Manager at the world-famous Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Beach Club, home to the PGA TOUR's The Player's Championship. Realizing that I was unhappy not working for myself, I quit the golf industry in June 2003 and headed back to South Florida where I completed the coursework necessary to pass the CPA exam. Since passing the exam, I have established my own company, specializing in tax and business consulting.
