Mark's Story
Life
Kathy and I have been married 27 years. We have three children: Jessica, 22, John, 21 and Sam,19. I am a math teacher at Hamilton High School where I've taught for the past 26 years. I recently retired as the varsity boy's tennis coach after nine years. Sam is a freshman at Wright State University where he is majoring in music education. John is a senior at Denison University in Ohio where he is double majoring in religion and communication. He talks about attending seminary after he completes his undergraduate degree. We'll see. m the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY with a degree in Sign Language interpretation. RIT has hired her as an interpreter. Kathy is in her third year of teaching in the Lakota school district where she is a media/reading specialist. I still enjoy playing tennis although I'm somewhat slower than I was in high school. I recently celebrated my 50th birthday and my daughter became a mommy this past year so I am a proud "grandpa." Both of my sisters (also Moore grads) make Louisville their home. Mary Jo (class of '73) lives quite close to Moore.
