Markus's Story

I honestly can't think that many people remember me, I have had a few people sign my guestbook and send me notes but really don't remember all that much about them, Having said that. I would really like to catch up with anyone that remembers me. I always wanted to be a person people looked up to when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a really good idea. As it turns out, they were out of touch with reality. Wow blowing off steam, this invloves just letting go and letting God do his work as promised, We do go out with friends sometimes though but mainly i'm kinda stuck at home, Being partially disabled I can't walk very for or stand for very long :( The wildest thing I remember from School was instigating a food fight in the cafeteria, Oh wait maybe that was at Algonac High, See the fog continues to roll. I can't remember me being very wild at Anchor Bay. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a comfortable chair, Internet access, and peace of mind to be able to deal with the day-to-day. Heros, hhhhmmm this is a toughy. I can't remember having any inspiration back then from anyone, Good thing things change. Ok heres another long winded one. I joined the service after High School to get away from the situation I was in, So it didn't work out to well. Boot Camp was at Fort Knox Kentucky so I lived there for like 9 weeks (worse 9 weeks of my life) contracted chinese measles while i was there and almost missed my graduation (would have had to do bootcamp all over again) After that I went to my MOS School in Virginia at a place called Ft. Eustis and lived there for however long it took to complete school (to much moonshine and marijuana there), Got Assigned to the 101st Airborne base at Fort Campbell Kentucky and did the remainder of my time there, I was a BAD boy there (no surprise there I guess). I have lived in Florida, Maine, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Utah. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Robert Bommarito, because I'd like to know what happened in "his" past that made him such a Monster. Sports? Hunting, Fishing, Those are sports right? Reality TV? yeah right, mostly scripted, People are given the right to do whatever they mostly want to do but would never do in "Reality" ie Jerry Springer. TV, snicker. I'm a SyFy Junkie, can't get enough, History Channel, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet WOO HOO. My Pets. Well we have 2 cocatiels named Jewel and Ruby, a Dog named Lil'Bit, 2 cats named TC (Top Cat) and Bitty Kitty. Biggest surprise in my life has been how hard it has been to become more Christ like when I thought it would be the easiest thing for me to do, Second biggest? Wow quitting smoking, Worse addiction that the marijuana and crack cocaine I quit doing many years ago, Oh yeah forgot to mention that I spent a whole month in a treatment center for cack cocaine addiction. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel Everything and add on a bigger kitchen I Love to cook and bake.. My dream home would be 2 stories, upper floor office and about 3,000 sq.ft. Living area and of course a well stocked work area in the garage. Tools = Toys for big boys, Oh Yeah. Unfortunately I don't have any contact with any of my kids :(. I finally found one of my Sons through classmates and sent a message. So far he ha...Expand for more
sn't responded but I am hopeful. What i've learned from not being around my kids is the heartache of always wondering what might have been, Who are they as people, What their life is like, Do I have any Grand Children? What are they like? I pretty much alienated all of my teachers, So I really don't think any of them would want to see me again. If I won $100 million, I'd give most of it to charity, then spend the rest on Debts, and current bills and maybe a new house, car etc and maybe a nestegg for my Sweetie and I. Yeah I lived in a dorm it was called a Barracks in the service. What was it like? living with a bunch of self centered brothers, Good thing Things Change. I'm already where I want/Need to be, I'm with the Woman I was meant to be with and I am working on the less traveled path to Jesus My current age is 54. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be Succesful/Retired. I was so completely Naive. Changed alot in the past 2 years, I was an Over the road Truck Driver, But since developing Fibromyalgia my life has changed drastically. Now I am trying to develope a new career. I have been designing Websites and Custom Graphics on the side for like 15 years. I have my own website you'll have to send me a personal message to get the site address, Classmates doesn't allow them in profiles, It's called dbgrace It's currently being overhauled so if you go and check, it won't look like much until I get the new site up. My Style? LOL tee shirt and sweats/shorts and a good pair of sneakers. The weirdest job I have ever had was probably the 1 day stint as a tele-marketeer, I realized quick that those are pretty much all scams. I share my home with Jesus, my Wife Debbie, 2 birds, 2 cats and 1 dog, which I find most pleasing. You actually get an unlimited amount of do-overs, You have the chance to make your life worth while up until the second you die, Good works aren't required and won't get you into Heaven, But good works are smiled upon, By Grace alone are you redeemed. I was over 50 years old before I got that, Sheesh whatta maroon!!! In 10 years, I hope to be Where God wants me to be. I'm going to get there by Grace and alot of hard work. My oldest friend was Timothy Brown but I ruined that friendship maybe beyond repair. The oldest friend I have now is Linda Bailey. We met over the CB and got to know each other very well over the next 20 odd years, Couldn't tell you why we clicked, but we did. She has been my most ardent supporter until I met and Married Debbie and gave up my life to Jesus. Now the three of them support and guide me in my walk... A high School Reunion? I doubt many would remember me in the first place, I was kind of a non-person, outcast, stoner, you know not one of the popular kids, So probably just my showing up would be surprise. My first job was at Twin Pines Dairy, where I got paid deliver dairy products to supermarkets. What I remember most about it is how hard the job was for a 10 year old and what a task master my boss was. I'm still having a problem sharing any memories from my childhood, To many of them cause to much pain to bring up, It is enough to say that it was disfunctional, and emotionally crushing to me and I suffer from the effects of it Still today. Well that's my Story and I'm sticking to it. LOL Kinda of Cliche huh?
