Wow....its 2012. Can't believe its been twenty-three years since graduation. Twenty-two years since I joined the Marines, in which I served 8 years. The Marines? Those who knew me in school knew me the kid who bust a (bad) joke then a lip or skull. That's only if my batteries were drained on my (cassette) walkman. I still think I owe some detention hours for leaving muddy footprints on the walls. Yes I was wearing the shoes....I was on the track team. I never did/ still don't believe in limits. Gravity is just another limitation right? White men may not be able to jump, but this one could get horizotal at four feet in the air. (until I got caught by a janitor :P ) I was in Desert Shield/Storm, as a 19 yr kid. Later on I was part of Restore Hope in Somalia, The L.A. riots. Lost some friends there in the Middle East. Bad things happen in war. Some bad things that happen has nothing to do with actual fighting. Did security from 97 to 04. I dealt with terrorism while in the Corps. Just before Sept 11, I was transferred to a second hotel from my usual post. My usual hotel was used by the 9/11 hijackers. When I was transferred back the hotel staff showed me pages of telephone bills from the terrorist room to Saudi Arabia and Iraq. The current war is unpopular, and that's...Expand for more
