Mark's Story
Life
Remember when I was the 1979 KFRC High School football reporter? Well, I have taken the knowledge I learned back then and turned it into a career. I am the sports reporter for the Half Moon Bay (Calif.) Review. I also take sports photos as well. In addition to football, I write about every other sport, including baseball, basketball and track and field. Track is my favorite because it has allowed me to meet some of the top track athletes in the U.S. I have also done some traveling. The job has taken me to Bakersfield, Modesto, Fresno, Stockton, Yountville, Atwater and Paris. I also have a new nickname. They call me Scoop. All is well with me in Half Moon Bay. working in Half Moon Bay. It's the best job I could ask for. Not only do I follow all of the sports in Half Moon Bay, I am well verse on the national and international scene in track and field. You might see me or hear me on some sports talk show some day.
I am single, but looking. Overall, I am very happy. I hope all is well with everyone.
College
I graduated from San Jose State with a degree in journalism back in 1988. I have been a sports writer ever since.
Workplace
For the past 20 years, I have been a sports writer. For the last eight years, I have been working at the Half Moon Bay Review. I have also turned into a pretty nifty sports photographer. I have won a few awards and have earned praise from an array of people.
