Mark's Story
Life
Hi all,
Where to begin....well after finishing school, I married Nancy which whom I dated since grade 10 in Chippewa. We have been married for 19+ years and have two girls (well young women now) in Krista, 19 and Kaitlin, 18.
I was employed with Shoppers Drug Mart for almost 15+ years in various capcities and spent over 10 years as a Manager of their locations in Barrie, Timmins and Bracebridge until 2001. In 2006, I purchased my own retail store and its definnately challenging. There is life after Shoppers Drug Mart. Darn their are times when it feel like we are empty nesters although my eldest daughter says she "a lifer"....i guess we'll see.
My hobbies include competitive car audio. Something I did since 1994. I have been around various towns and cities accross Ontario and many into the U.S. competing in local and IACSA (International Auto Sound Challenge Association) ...Expand for more
events. I spent 2004 mainly judging which included the finals at Louisville , KY. We have 2 Black Labrador Retrievers who take up most of our time now as they are involved in competitive obedience and conformation at CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) events. As a result, I haven't competed in the auto sound scene in a bit....maybe someday will return.
We love to travel but because of our lifestyle of being tied to the business and the dogs, we are unable to get out as often as we would like.
I am definately interested in touching base with any of my former school mates and friends so please feel free to contact me whenever you get the opportunity. We often say we will stay in touch, but sadly, we often don't and I think that's unfortunate. Leave your name letting me know you've stopped by....I might even drop you a line! Nice to talk sometimes about "the good ole days".
...take care all.
