Born and raised in Yokohama, Japan, I attended Saint Joseph College until leaving in February, 1964, to live in the United States. moved to New York City in 1981 for show business. I was a lighting designer, technical director of live events and eventually became an electrical contractor although, if you ask me, I always refer to myself as a "theatre person.". For the past thirty years I have been (and remain) a found objects sculptor. .
