Mark's Story

Since leaving Elwood, I picked up a degree in physics from U. of Chicago and then advanced degrees in physical oceanography and atmospheric physics from MIT. My expertise is in tropical cyclone (hurricane) dynamics, climate change, and science policy. My spouse, Bill, and I reside in Del Mar, CA. Bill works as a physician and grows orchids. We share our house with two Lagottos (Fio & Capri) and hyacinth macaw Lan-Bao.
