Mark's Story
Life
Left Michigan in 1982. Arizona,(82-84) California (86-2007), Virginia (2007-2010) and back to California. Worked for the Federal Government and absolutely loved my work. Had a great wife who put up with me for 36 years and was very active in doing Dog Rescue. Sincerely appreciate all the friends I have had the pleasure to see and email over the years as I do my best to stay in touch and keep up to date with. Was working in San Diego and enjoyed one of the best cities in the United States. Have been to all the states in the US except the Dakotas and have spent months in Guam, Saipan, and Hawaii. My favorite locations are Missoula Montana and Anchorage, Alaska. Have been to Alaska over 10 times and have also done the Alaskan Cruise. It is an incredible place that everyone should see. t food and the surrounding areas are fantastic to explore. Plus they have the Clark-Fork river running through the middle of town and you can watch people fly fishing and enjoying life. Jackson is a big part of my life that really kind of set me on the path I am on, and I am truly appreciative of the perspective it taught me (even though I really thought I couldn't wait to leave) Enjoyed my visits so much my wife and I bought 2 little places, one on 40 acres and another on 11.5 acres in Northern Michigan. Unfortunately, lost the love of my life in April 2022 and without Karyl I am kind of lost in direction. Did sell my house in California and am moved back to Michigan. Retired in November 2021. Looking forward to the next reunion in 2023 and seeing all the great people from our class!
