Mark's Story
Since I moved from Florida to California in the middle of my junior year in high school and then ended up going to college in Oklahoma and moving several times since then, I have had practically no contact with my friends from school days. t has to be the year I spent working in Sydney, Australia in 1988-89. What a beautiful country! I have worked for several companies, large and small and done some independent consulting over the years. I have enjoyed the technical challenges in my work but find I am most rewarded by the interaction with my colleagues. I currently live with my wife and two cats in a suburb of Atlanta and work as a project manager for IBM. We have no children.
I have been lucky enough to have had good health. My wife and I enjoy the outdoors and go hiking and bird watching whenever we can. We loved to go camping in our little pop-up camper trailer. One of the best decisions we ever made was to take time off between consulting contracts in 1994 and go camping for 4 months in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. I still enjoy reading and listening to music - some things never change.
