Mark's Story
Life
Mark was born in Seattle, Washington in 1954. He grew up in Edmonds and graduated from Woodway High School in 1972 and from Shoreline Community College in 1975. After college he volunteered for the U.S. Army as a saxophone player. Basic training was at Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri and advanced training at the Navy School of Music in Virginia. The Presidio of San Francisco was the permanent duty station. After his service ended, he went to Control Data Institute, graduating in 1978 from the Electronics Technician Course. company specializing in computer systems for Auto Dealers. Display Data Corporation hired him for the Seattle area. In 1986 he was promoted to Los Angeles. After two and a half years in California, he left the company, moved back home and went to work for the Nelson Group of Auto Dealers as their Systems Administrator. He and Luanne now live in Mukilteo. Mark's spare time is spent doing general computer consulting. On July 12th 1997, Luanne and Mark wed. Their brother-in-law, Mike Wade, built them a house. Mark plays saxophone in the Moonlight Swing Orchestra.
