Mark's Story
Life
In July of 2014 I will complete 27 years as a Spokane County Deputy Prosecutor (Motto: Crime never takes a holiday). I'm currently working on the Early Case Resolution docket (personal record - - 10 days from arrest to plea and sentencing) and our Drug Court program. Last year my partner in ECR and I closed over 1200 cases - - that's nearly one quarter of the felony cases in Spokane for the year.
My wife (Linette) and our daughters (Anna & Maria) share our 14 acres south of Spokane with 3 dogs, 4 cats, and 4 horses. We have traveled to England, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Liechtenstein (blinked and almost missed it) and Rus...Expand for more
sia. We spend the winters watching Gonzaga basketball (Go Zags!) and as soon as it warms up we start to itch to break out the Harleys ('07 Street Bob for me, '05 Low Rider for Linette). Our property is insured by Smith & Wesson, Glock, Ruger, Sig Sauer and Kimber.
I have kept up with music, trading high school's double bass for the electric. I have done some recording of original liturgical music with Scott Randall and have lost all track of how many weddings, funerals and special Masses we have played for. Most recently I played in a concert in Moscow, Idaho with well known Catholic composer, Dan Schutte (most well known song "Here I Am Lord").
