Mark's Story
I was born in Refugio, Texas. I lived there on Tallow Drive until February of eighth grade. My mother, Jacquelyn, sisters, Melanie and Melinda, and I moved to Victoria where I finished eighth grade at Crain Middle School. Just before starting my freshman year at Memorial High School, we moved to San Antonio. my summers in Refugio with my grandparents, Jack and Edith Rogers and my best friend, Murray McDonald. After graduating from Lee, I worked the summer at Southern Steel Company. Then came the University of Texas at Austin. I attended UT with the intent of getting an Accounting degree. I made a lot of friends and acquaintances while living in Jester Center my freshman year. I moved back to San Antonio after two years in Austin. More later!
