Mark's Story
Life
Currently living in Calgary Alberta, but working in Miami Florida since November 2005. Commuting is a _itch!!! :-)
Seriously, I am working as a Catastrophe Insurance Adjuster for an American company and left Calgary August 28th 2005 as a result of Hurricane Katrina and have been down here since.
I am married to a wonderful, beautiful, and VERY understanding wife. We have been married coming on sixteen years now and we have three beautiful (of course I would say that!!) daughters, aged 8, 6 and 5.
After high school I worked at various things until I landed a job in the claims department of an insurance company and started a career as an insurance adjuster which I have been doing since then. I moved to Calgary in the spring of 1988 (Missed the Winter Olympics completely!) and met Lorraine in 1989. We Transfered to Saskat...Expand for more
oon Saskatchewan in the summer of 1989 and lived there only 8 months before moving again to Lorraine's original province, British Columbia.
We lived in Vancouver until 1997 when I was transfered to Terrace B.C. in Northern B.C. and I do mean Northern! We were only 3 hours by air from the Alaska border! We lived with the hicks in the sticks until 2001 when we moved back to Calgary to be close to family, both Lorraine's and mine.
I got this job, the job that I have wanted for a long time, when Hurricane Ivan hit Florida in 2004 and have been traveling back on forth since then.
Let me tell you, winters are real nice and don't seem to bother me anymore!! :-P
Well that's about it for my life. Any friends I hung out with at O'leary who want to connect with me, just send me an email, I'd love to get back in touch with some peeps!
