Mark's Story
Mark was born in St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, and grew up in Adams Township, Minnesota. Mark attend Kindergarten in the Adams School District in 1970-1971, and attended Sacred Heart School (grades 1 - 8) in Adams, Minnesota from 1971 to 1979. Mark attended Southland High School in Adams, Minnesota from 1979 to 1983. Mark attended Moorhead State University (now Minnesota State University - Moorhead) in Moorhead, Minnesota from 1983 to 1988, graduating with a B.A. degree in Political Science in May 1988. h a M.S. degree in Political Science. Mark did an internship with Congressman Timothy J. Penny in Washington DC from September 1989 to January 1990. Mark worked as an administrative assistant and legislative assistant for Congressman Timothy J. Penny in Washington DC from January 1990 to January 1995. Mark attended the University of Arizona from 1995 to 2001, graduating with a Ph.D. in Political Science in December 2001. Mark has been employed as a professor at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas since August 2001. Mark married Jody McMullen in Tucson, Arizona in 1998. Mark and Jody have one son, Ethan Mullenbach, who was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Mark, Jody, and Ethan live in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
