LaSalle '63, went in to the service, started driving for a small construction Company, J. Albanese Trucking. In '68 was planning to get married, needed a more permanent job. In February of '68 started driving tankers for Atlantic Oil Co. Deliver Gasoline, Diesel, Lube Oils, an Heating oils. In '70 Atlantic became ARCO. In February of '72 switched over to Mobil Oil Corp. Drove Tankers for 10 years, in '82 moved into the maintenance Garage working on the tractors an trailers. In the Fall of '82, got divorced, not my choice. Re-married in Feb. '86. In October of '89 the company asked me if I would like to move up into management and movie up to Bangor, Maine and run a small terminal. I left Rhode Island in November living in Hampden ME. Was in Maine until April of '94. Was sent to Syracuse N.Y., larger terminal, with drivers an trucks. Also was in charge of two other terminals, one in Utica and the other in Binghamton. These terminals also had trucks and drivers. So far all these terminals were pipeline supplied. In the fall of '96 Mobil, soon to merge with Exxon, offered me a retirement package.
