Life I can't believe it's almost 12 years since I left teaching in CI. I have wonderful memories and am very grateful to all my former students. I am very proud of you. I am living in Florida with Linda and loving it! I still miss teaching and visit schools and libraries as an author. I am proud I was Lake County's Childrens Author of the Year and my Rockhound Mysteries won the Teachers Choice Award from Learning Mag.(2001), and are under contract to a television producer. Several of my books and short stories have won various awards. My short story, "The Warehouse", about a girl during the Holocaust, was Editors Choice in a national contest and was published in the Journeys Anthologies. I served as a contributor (3 stories each) and Editor-in-Chief of HOLIDAY HELPINGS and THE STORY SHOP, with short stories and poems for children and families to share, all profits donated to children's charities.
