Mark's Story

Life I am not quite sure how many of you people actually browse this, but hey that's why its here. I now live in Charlotte, North Carolina. Most people probably wouldn't think that I would have left Massachusetts, me included. I currently work as a tech support person for an internet company. I can be found on MySpace, Livejournal, and Friendster if you really look hard. Odds are, reference the school and you will find me if you so desire. I am always open for people to contact me for chats, talking about old times (oh god did I just say that??) and whatever. I was married for 12 years, recently divorced, no kids. That's the score so far. I am currently living with my new girlfriend, whom which I am semi-engaged to. We are together, but in no rush to be married. I kinda like the vacation thus far. If you, for some absurd reason, think you will bring the wrath of a jealous girlfriend down on me by touching base with me, you won't. I love her to death but getting her in a jealous rage just isn't possible. I have tried, it doesn't work.. *shrug* I am currently working with a Parrot Rescue organization and we are currently fostering a Green Quaker parrot that is missing his top beak, due to a run in with a very angry Cockatoo. Poor baby looks pitiful, but he had a hell of an attitude lemmie tell you. I am currently learning more about birds and their involvement with humans. The ups...Expand for more
and downs as it were. Again, if you would like to know more about me and my current state of being, look for me. I am a net geek, and I have left good clues here that searching for me won't be difficult to do. I would enjoy chatting with old friends and acquaintances. School School to me was very lonely. I was always the one who sat by himself with a book to read becasue I did not need to fear the reprecussions of a conversation that I did not know how to handle. There were a few people I recall having crushes on.. Jen P, Jane W, Kelli S, as well as Dawn G. The one girl whom I enjoyed time with that I and everyone crushed over was Kim H. She did the one thing that no one else even tried. She challenged me. Challenged my comfort level and enjoyed it when she pushed me to actually respond. There were a few fond memories that I have which are probably tainted by the passage of time. However, Kim was one girl that I respected dearly and I am sad to see her gone. There were quite a few teachers that inspired me, and prodded me to do better. Joe Pedro, Mark Feely, Ann Sutton, Bernard Osbourne and of course Gerry Slaney. Without their guidance, I don't think I would have made it as far as I have. I know that I can do better, if I remember their lessons. Work hard, and apply yourself to your tasks and you will succeed. Maybe not in the ways that you would think of, but you will succeed.
